About Me
As a recent graduate with a degree in Economics, I am eager to apply my analytical skills and passion for data-driven decision making to a professional role. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong foundation in economic theory, quantitative methods, and policy analysis. During my time in university, I had the opportunity to work on several research projects that allowed me to hone my abilities in areas such as data collection, statistical modeling, and economic forecasting. For my capstone thesis, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the impact of trade policies on the manufacturing sector in my home country. This experience taught me how to translate complex economic concepts into clear, actionable insights. In addition to my technical expertise, I pride myself on being an effective communicator who can present information in a concise and compelling manner. I have developed these skills through coursework, group projects, and various leadership roles in my university's Economics Club and student government.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is student-centered and focused on active engagement. I believe in creating a collaborative, discussion-based classroom where students are actively participating in the learning process, not just passively listening to lectures. I use a variety of instructional methods to cater to different learning styles - such as hands-on activities, multimedia presentations, group work, and individualized practice. My goal is to make the material relevant and applicable to students' lives and interests. I'm also very committed to providing regular feedback and one-on-one support. I believe in building strong relationships with my students so I can best understand their strengths, challenges, and learning needs. I'm always available for extra help or to discuss any questions or concerns. Ultimately, I see my role as more of a facilitator than a lecturer. I want to empower students to take ownership of their learning and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them beyond the classroom. My teaching style is designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to helping each student succeed.
