Teaching General Science at KS3, Biology at KS3, GCSE and A-Level and introducing and leading Life and Health Sciences at KS5. Head of Year in KS4, I have effectively led a team of tutors in dealing with behaviour, safeguarding and attendance issues as well as maintain direct contact with parents. Nominated by my colleagues to represent the teaching staff on the school’s Board of Governors. In this role I have been able to provide input and opinion on the day to day running of the school as well as completing additional governor training on the Recruitment and Interview Process.

Teaching KS3 Science and Mathematics, AQA GCSE Combined Science Trilogy, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and AQA A-Level Biology. Lead teacher for A-Level Biology pupils in preparation for summer examinations and completing required practicals. Year 11 form teacher where pupils were offered Science booster lessons during tutor time as well as monitoring their progress and supporting them pastorally.
