It was a rewarding experience to serve as an English and Social Studies teacher at New Generation International School, where I taught English Language Arts and Social Studies from Grades 6 to 9. I was responsible for designing and delivering engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with the American curriculum, promoting critical thinking, academic writing, and global awareness. I successfully integrated interdisciplinary approaches to enhance student understanding across subjects and levels. My students consistently demonstrated strong academic progress, and I was honored to be recognized as the school’s Top Achiever Teacher for four consecutive years, a reflection of my commitment to excellence and student-centered teaching. It was a rewarding experience to serve as a high school English teacher at Delta American School, where I was responsible for teaching English Language Arts to Grades 9 through 12. My role involved planning and delivering creative, standards-based lessons aligned with the American Common Core, assessing student progress through various formative and summative assessments, and fostering students' skills in critical thinking, academic writing, and effective communication. It was especially fulfilling to witness my students’ academic growth and improved performance in both internal assessments and external benchmarks. Beyond the classroom, it was an honor to be part of the school’s accreditation team, where I contributed actively to the preparation of institutional reports, reviewed school policies, and supported alignment with international accreditation standards. Currently, I am working at Royal Canadian School as an English and Social Studies teacher for Grades 7 to 11. I design and implement interdisciplinary lessons aligned with the Canadian curriculum, aiming to develop students’ literacy, analytical thinking, and civic responsibility. I play an active role in curriculum planning, differentiation, and school development initiatives. A significant achievement in my current role has been successfully supporting the school during the Prince Edward Island (PEI) inspection, ensuring compliance with academic standards and contributing to a successful evaluation outcome.
