I am an English language and literature instructor. My studies in literature and my previous work experience as a teacher and journalist make me an excellent choice for anyone who wants to learn more about literary analysis, argumentation, critical thinking and philosophical inquiry.

I believe every lesson should add to the student's growth and potential. That is why every hour with me or every assignment we work on will add to your understanding and ability perform independently and confidently, and excel at your subject. The point of tutoring is to help students feel like, with just a little bit of training and encouragement, they can do anything they put their mind to. My teaching style is to be a support while you do the work and eventually gain the confidence to accomplish your tasks on your own. We will go through your assignments or questions at the pace you feel comfortable, and will build the skills pertinent to the subject at hand.
